Our Trainers

Bharti Verma

Dr Bharti Verma is a practicing family physician who, in addition to fitness and spiritual aspects, brings a scientific therapeutic approach to her teaching. She has been trained to teach advanced Art of Living and Sri Sri Yoga courses, and has been teaching internationally for the past 25 years.

Al Giacalone

Al is an Art of Living yoga teacher who has been teaching in the city for five years. He is a dynamic teacher who brings a sense of fun and play to his classes. We are looking forward to having him with us at Yogathon this year.

WHY HALIFAX RISES

I will be rising for a cause for three different reasons.  For one it will improve my own health and well being.  Secondly, it promotes peace and the benefits of yoga in my own city.  Finally it will help to support holistic education for children in developing countries.
