For the fifth consecutive year, Dr Rick Evertsz will be leading the Yogathon challenge of 108 Salutes to the Sun Yoga series. Rick is a qualified Art of Living Yoga teacher and Happiness Course Instructor, avid musician and photographer.

WHY MELBOURNE RISES

My passion for fitness had led me into Yoga since I was 16, and since then it has holistically elevated my entire consciousness. I participated in the Yogathon challenge last year in the heart of Melbourne CBD along with my friends, and we completed 108 rounds of sun-salutes in 71min and the experience was absolutely exhilarating. I am so motivated to be a part of it this year, as the funds raised will go towards a charity in India called “Gift a Smile”. Eagerly waiting for 16th Aug, to unleash the yogi in me! Cheers to the noble cause!
